I mean, whatever the possibility of doing that was five months ago and it didn't work and I don't think Trump was ever going to do quite enough. Well, I'm not sure he could have, honestly, but I don't think he's going to do it now.
Michigan's the one that the one Senate seat the Democrats hold. It's at risk that I think less so if Haley Stevens wins, which I think she will in a couple of weeks.
I think the generic closed a little, but it has correlated, as you say, with Trump having a slight uptick, assuming he goes back to a slight down tick. And even if he doesn't, I think the natural momentum will be the generic to open up a little bit here in the last few months, as often the way it goes.
yeah, they're up already like 13 points this past week. And I think going to go up another 15 points this coming week, just because that's already baked into the wholesale prices.
And I think both of us are sort of focused on the fact that it's kind of unlikely I'll be defeated on a possible but unlikely, but very important to weaken him and to weaken Trump
But I think one thing that will happen over the next several months, I wouldn't be surprised to see the administration turn against Israel. And then you really have an interesting moment, right, for MAGA and for the Republican Party, I think.
I've sort of assumed that Ron would accept a deal now intending to sort of monkey with it and semi violated and target three, six, nine, 12 months from now
So yeah, I've been slightly on the side that they probably at the end of the day want to get to a deal and Trump certainly wants to get to a deal. So they'll get to a deal.
So six weeks from now, after everything is settled down, the Iranians will deny passage to someone or, you know, find an excuse to do something to remind people that they have control.
And you know, presidents can step down if they're getting too old for the job and getting ill. And JD Vance, their favorite guy is there. It's number two. It's not as if the Democrats have to take over if Trump steps down. But of course, he will never will.
Trump could bounce back some of the 37. I expect these trends never go entirely in one direction for 10 months, you know, they'll be some uptick one month of a point. But it just is likely he'll be lower than 37
But of course, Putin's terms are not going to be acceptable to Zelensky. Putin wants to keep probably 20% of Ukraine that they have. And that's not going to happen. So I'm dubious that there'll be an agreement.
Trump's proposing $1.5 trillion defense budget, which is, I don't know, 40% increase some insane increase, just the number they made up and is totally unmoored from reality. I suppose they're not going to get it. They'll get something though.
